Pelvic Pain
Pelvic pain is a complex medical issue that may be a signal for other health problems.
Reporting the location, severity and duration of the pain will help your physician reach a
correct diagnosis. Women with a retroverted uterus, uterine prolapse or vaginal vault prolapse
may experience pelvic pain as one of their symptoms.
Nearly 15% (2 in 7) of American women 18 - 50 years old suffer from chronic pelvic pain. This condition is often not diagnosed or
may be misdiagnosed. Chronic pelvic pain is pain that lasts for more than six months.
